How do I use Traffic.com Wireless Web?

If you are coming to the product for the first time, you will need to select a city. Once the city is selected, you will be able to access the product’s features.

Selecting a City

To view traffic on your phone, you will first have to select a city. Simply select the link “Change City”, locate the city you are interested in, and press go. You only have to do this the fist time you use the service because we remember your last selection.

Viewing Local Hotspots

To see the trouble areas in a particular city, select “Hotspots” from the home page menu. You will see a list of problem areas, with the worst ones first. Select any one of the links for more detailed traffic information on the given hotspot.

Viewing All Roads

Traffic.com monitors traffic on all of the major roadways in the cities we cover. You can see all of the roads covered for each city by selecting “All Roads” from the home page. Simply click on the road name, and select the direction you want to view, to see detailed information for the entire roadway. Long roadways are broken into segments so you can look at the ones that matter most to you.

Accessing Recently Viewed Roads

To make it easier for you to get to the roads you view the most, Traffic.com stores the 5 roads you have most recently viewed. Simply select All Roads and then Select “Recently Viewed” to access your list.
